SSL troubleshooting
"SSL pending" fixes- Confirm the record resolvesRun the dig command above or check a public DNS checker. The answer should be the GHL target and nothing else.
- Remove conflicting recordsDelete old A, AAAA or CNAME records on the same host, including leftovers from a previous website builder.
- Turn off the Cloudflare proxySet the record to DNS only (grey cloud). Proxied records stop GHL from issuing the certificate.
- Check CAA recordsA restrictive CAA record can block the certificate. Remove it or allow the issuing authority.
- Wait, then re-verifyPropagation can take up to 24 hours. Re-verify the domain in GHL, then test in a private window.
- Escalate with proofStill pending after 24–48 hours? Send GHL support a DNS screenshot and the dig output.
